SeSys helps Southern Water with innovative CCTV system | 16 August 2010

SeSys has been selected by Southern Water to deploy an innovative CCTV solution to provide visual verification for its drinking water sampling procedures at up to 100 sites across Southern England. The new visual assurance system goes beyond the Drinking Water Quality Inspectorate guidelines and is part of an ongoing commitment by Southern Water to ensure safe and clean water supply to over 1 million households across Southern England.

"The project with Southern Water is a great example of CCTV as a health and safety asset and cost saver" explains Dan Eames, Technical and Projects Manager. "Water sampling is vitally important to Southern Water and must be 100% reliable. With visual verification, Southern Water can confirm when and how the sample collection was conducted, providing a valuable audit record and the opportunity to reinforce good practice and training."

SeSys scoops double awards win at International Security Awards | 28 January 2009

SeSys is the proud recipient of two awards at the International Security Awards, IIPSEC 2009, taking home both the Best Hardware and Best Innovation prizes.  The Torch Camera received praise from the judges for it’s “…good use of different technology advances all in one product… Just what the market is looking for, a portable, easily deployable simple solution."

Andy Hennings, Manager of IP Usergroup commented ““This years’ hardware category was probably one of the hardest we have had to judge but SeSys was a credible winner.  There were a number of criteria but the judges liked the fact that SeSys went to the customers and found out what they needed and built a fine product around that requirement.”

The Torch Camera was developed as a complete portable camera system, containing a digital IP camera and 3G/GPRS communications – everything required to capture and deliver images from a remote location and is ready to go – literally switch on and view!

IIPSEC is a premier UK event dedicated to networked and digital security, life safety and BMS Technologies. This year’s event played host to around 4000 participants including more than 800 delegates to 60 educational tracks and break-out sessions.
